Not a problem. With two and a half weeks to go I would think more players would be listed. I'm hoping. I love going to the event and watching great pool by the top players in the world.

The latest players list posted on the US Open Facebook page shows 97 players but it does not include several former champions such as Van Boening, Archer, Immonen and many more. I'm wondering what is going on. A full field is 256 players. Maybe Jay Helfert can add some insight.

Thanks, Storminorman. You are correct. I've owned the case 20 years. Bought it new. I don't know this for certain but I have owned other newer Whittens and to me the leather is noticeably thicker on this case. Primarily a storage case over the years but has seen some action.

Not sure I'm ready to let it go. Just bought it 3 months ago. It was purchased by a friend of mine at the 1992 Trade Show and probably didn't have 10 hours playing time when I bought it. I spoke to Tony about the cue and he told me he only made 4 of the RS1's with the silver inlays...
