My first cue was a $35 cheapo I bought before heading to college in RI. Within a month (Oct. 1983), I "traded up" to this JOSS. This cue/case have been in use for the last 40 years and I couldn't be happier. I love this cue.

Got it tapped. Threads are a little rough. I’m going to have to step up to live threading if I keep at this. Now to do a test fit to see if it will mate up with the pin.

I have a CF blank that I'm finishing to fit a Cuetec 3/8-14 pin. I bought an undersized 3/8-14 tap. I installed a phenolic insert and am looking for confirmation of what size to drill/bore out the insert. Thank you. Frank
