I stand looking at the shot with my belly button aligned right down the shot line while I decide on speed and tip position, plant my right foot, get down, take a couple of practice strokes, and go. Staying down and watching what happens is important.

I hit three a couple of months ago. It felt great, sounded good, and didn't seem to have much, if any, deflection compared to my Revo. Very smooth feeling. And the interchangeable joints are a great option.

I interchange so much that I don't even think about it. I am probably 60/40 open/closed. It's just whatever seems like the right one for the job (in my head, at least).
