what is a gold crown 1 worth

Because all of the later Cenntennials, Anniversaries, Sport kings, GC 1's, 2's and early 3's came with Brunstone. Other table manufacturers that bought from Brunswick also used Brunstone like AMF, Saunier Willham and others. Where do you get the info? And don't tell me Indians smoke...

what is a gold crown 1 worth

Again I am not trying to be a dick. But where do you get the info that no slate was had after 1950? Did someone tell you or did you read it somewhere. I am very curious in the history of these tables. Maybe Mr Bond will chime in. He has a ton of info at his disposal.

what is a gold crown 1 worth

This I promise you is slate with sloped pockets. Got it from a gentleman who had it for the last fifty years in his basement. Not a ding or scratch on the metal.

Refinished GC3 & matching Diamond light package $4500

Hey Rob, The pictures do not do this table justice. You should take better pictures. I have seen this table in person and hit balls on it. It is SWEET! If you are looking for a near perfect Gold Crown at a reasonable price I would buy this table. Good luck with the sale Rob.

Looking at a used table possibly Connelly Chiricahua Ultimate No Rail Marking

The three Connelly Ultimates I moved which were all 9 footers played lights out. Great action off the rail and played true.

Looking at a used table possibly Connelly Chiricahua Ultimate No Rail Marking

Curious what you mean by ultimates having the wrong nose height. It is the same rail with a different bolt pattern as a regular Connelly.

That is an Ultimate model....2 inch slate...Heavy as all hell.

    bluestone & slate

I asked a question on how the information on older tables has been documented. I don't know why you singled out the comment above. I asked you a question and that was it. I am interested in history and want to know more. That is my reasoning. No hidden agenda here. You of all people know I'll...

    bluestone & slate

That was put out in the late 90's by who? My point to this is the history of the gold crowns is sketchy at best. Brunswick does not know or even care. There are plenty of people spouting their opinions. The old mechanics who were working on tables in the early 60's are the people I am looking...

I can not open the link. Is it from Brunswick with all that info you just posted?

For the record I am not doubting the info but would like proof so we can get it out to the public.

Glenn, Interesting post. Can I verify this information anywhere? Just curious.

    is this an GC2?

I have seen the comparison chart before. I really feel like someone made it with best intentions but it is not complete. It is very interesting though. It was argued on here years ago that only GC II's had the small extrusions as opposed to the ones that went the entire length of the apron. That...

    is this an GC2?

Are you sure the chart that has been floating around AZB is from Brunswick? Anyone can make the chart and through Brunswick on it. The GC 1 & 2 has been highly debated here for years. Even experts on here don't know for sure what they are talking about. The reason being there are few who worked...

9' Gold Crown III with Mark Gregory rail work

The tables from Premium Billiards. That were some of the nicest gold crowns I've ever worked on. The metal piece on the front of the ball box was a great idea. Sharp looking tables.
