    pool hall question?

Wow, this actually came up? There's no answer. Russ is right; it's all dependent on how it's flipped. I bet there are people out there who can make it flip just a single time. Analyzing coin flips? Is this was we've resorted to?

    Mark Tadd

From what I hear, he gave up pool (gambling) for religious reasons. He was the strongest talent that Los Angeles produced in decades, betting up with anyone in the world. He played all games at a champion level back in the early 1990s; be it banks, 9-ball, one-pocket. Monster player, with a...

How many people would buy this TAR PPV?

I'd pay to see it, but I'd pay even more to see someone more lively than Hopkins (against McCready). Mike Sigel perhaps? Hopkins is great, but I'd like to see someone who can fire back with his mouth. Hopkins is pretty quiet/respectful. How about Strickland? This may be a good matchup...

Why is there a Womans league and a Mens Pool League ...

Two apparent reasons: 1.) Skill level -- Across the board, the men are generally better than women. Only a few of the women can really compete with the men. 2.) Marketing -- Trying to get the male pros to appeal to an ESPN-watching audience is a tough proposition. Meanwhile, the WPBA has...

Larry Nevel Vs John S What Ya Think

Wow, *drama queen*! So Suprnva, if this match takes place, two questions: 1. You giving odds, if 14.1 is not one of the games? 2. How much are you willing to bet?

Johnston City 1967 Wimpy vs Shorty

Wow, absolutely stunning footage! Danny D was a brunette... who knew!? Man they all look so young. It's amazing how much 'Champagne' Eddie Kelly still looks the same today, though. That's some great stuff. Thanks for the post.

Predator 9-Ball Memorial Day Event Updates at Masters

Heh, he also finished second in the inaugural Predator Tournament, losing to Joey Testa in the finals.

Predator 9-Ball Memorial Day Event Updates at Masters

During the previous Predator tournament at SoHo, Tony lost to Park in the finals and he seemed a bit ticked. Apparently it was the 8th consecutive loss to Park in a tournament. He was going on about having beaten Mika 13 consecutive times in tournament play, but he can't beat Park a single...

    OB-1 Malfunctions

Why wouldn't you consider a Predator? I've dealt with returns from the factory, and it was a satisfying experience. I had one of the Z2 shafts with the ferrule problem, and they replaced it without any hassle. I shipped it to FL, and they had a new one in my hands within 5 days.

Adderrall - How it helped my game

I guess it wouldn't be another week on AZB if there weren't a drug/pool debate/thread. Hey, at least we're not talking about Karen Corr's sexuality.

    Ref Rulings in Vegas

Agreed. And even gestures are enough. I mean, if we're going to really beat this thing into the ground we should entertain the possibility of playing a deaf/mute person. Will they be penalized for not actually calling a shot? I mean c'mon, how much are we going to nit-pick here? Sadly this...

He wasn't bring politics into the forum, he was just being light-hearted. Tell you what: Obama will give your son the 6-ball and you can bet all you want.

Allison Fisher LIVE on Table 1

I've been losing the feed all week. Worst stream I've ever tried to watch. I'm done, even if the Fisher/Alcaide match is getting good. It's too frustrating to keep refreshing every 30 seconds at a critical junction in the rack/match. I'll stick to YouTube videos and AZB updates on matches.

    Rooms in LA area

Where in the LA area will you be? The "LA Area" is huge... could take hours from point-to-point. If you'll be in the westside, I suggest hitting up the House of Billiards. It's in Santa Monica, on the corner of Wilshire/19th Street. I think the address is 1901 Wilshire Blvd. Plenty of action...

    Deuels Break

In the 1989 French Open (Tennis), Michael Chang pulled an underhanded serve to throw off his opponent to become the youngest French Open winner. To this day, that shot is famous and not mocked. You do what you can to catch your opponent off guard, and if that means breaking with bridge then so...
