That is one beautiful cue especially if its you first. If I were to criticize anything , and I hat to say criticize but I would burr/polish the ring on the shaft and maybe the threaded hole. No matter what that is a beautiful cue and you should be proud to have made it , I know I would be.

I couldn't pick either...Since I cant make up my mind I'd have to have both...

I love how it almost looks nothing like a Tad yet you can tell its a Tad if that makes any sense. Absolutely beautiful cue.

Quick update For anyone with a similar cue or just for anyone interested I contacted Schmelke and received some info. I did not realize the artwork was dated on the cue. I would like to thank Schmelke cues customer service for being so quick to respond..Very profesional

Yea I thought it was pretty neat when I seen it , Didn't think it was worth a lot but definitely a little different .Just wrote Schmelke today to see if it was one of their production models or someone's custom paintjob.

Hey Chopdoc,If you happen the see that guy ask if he knows what model and aprox. year of this cue. BTW do you think the wood is cocobolo?

The outside is not in too bad but the interior is in bad shape.it almost looks like it was wet at one time and molded, smells bad also but the cue inside wasn't swelled or warped so I'm not sure what's up with it. its also missing the bottom . the case was sitting upside down in a corner...

It does seem stoutly built but kind of big for a 1X2. The exterior definitely held up better than the interior.

I will do that , maybe They would do the repair , it would be a lot nicer than I could do that's for sure.

Well that makes perfect sense considering the cue that was in it. I think I might try and repair it myself , I'm a pretty handy guy. Thanks for the info.

Picked this up in southern Indiana with a rack and 20 other cues and this was probably the best of them...and yes it was Buddy's cue....Buddy who I don't know but his name was on the case.Thought some of you might like the design.I don't know how old it is but I don't see it in any of the older...

Unless Buddy Shot with a Schmelke and left it in BFE in southern Indiana theres not much chance of that.
