I’ve been playing pool for about 45 years. In all that time I never learned any of the wisdom you’re bestowing on me. I’m lucky to catch the attention of a real expert.
But most cue makers have a general reputation for playability.
I’ve played with hundreds of cues over the years and I can tell you that certain builders generally make cues that play well.
I have an AE I might let go.
Desert Ironwood into BE maple. Large hunks of tooth inlays. Wrap may be EE but I don’t know that for sure.
