The 314 is 12.75 so with a 12.9 you need a bit more tip offset to apply the same amount spin as the 12.75. My stroke is not fluid straight as before since im just a month back to playing after nearly 18 yrs break. So i am condidering a 12.9 then eventually going 12.4

Sir did you find the 12.9 slightly less stiffer than the 12.4 in the shaft end due to its longer pro taper and as suspected a thinner carbon fiber wall thickness in the shaft end resulting to lower end mass thus deflection and less stiffness ? Thanks

In my email i only inquired aboutthe 314 12.4 and 12.9. I did not mention the 11.8 . Had i mentioned it i would not be surprised if they said it was the 11.8

Yes i saw the numbers difference is about 2/10 of an inch. Im not worried about it . I just wanted to confirm a observation of some members here in the past that found the 12.9 to have less deflection than the 12.4 which one would think should not be the case.

check this video by a member here dr dave test result are see attachment . His test though show the 12.4 having less deflection than 12.9

agree 100% i was just curious to know whether there is truth to it (12.9 revo lesser deflection than 12.4 ). Would have been nice had they confirmed the wall thickness thing ITs not some trade secret anyway all one has to do is buy 1 of each slice it open and measure the shaft end...

i think the archives mentioned that with a thinner shaft diameter may require a thicker carbon fiber wall in the shaft end along with a shorter pro taper to be stiff enough thus increasing shaft end weight compared to 12.9 ( which is suspected to have a thinner carbon fiber wall ) and longer...
