Do you know what the difference in feel is between abs and pvc? I have a cue that I think has an abs ferrule, it is soft but it also plays kind of dead, not a lot of "feel"on a shot

That's a reasonable take, but I'm not looking for suitable, I want that same hit. It was perfect to me. I've tried most of those options, the only one that was close was xtc.

Yea but kicks are affected heavily by spin and there's plenty of systems for those. I'm sure there's something simple out there that I just don't know of that will give you a solid line, atleast as a reference.

Is there a way to use the parallel shift system of kicking for banks? Or something similar. Looking for a quick way to measure 2 rail banks either in my head or with my cue, that doesn't involve counting diamonds. Thanks.

I also use ultraskin. The soft is softer than the pro, the pro is closer to medium. If you want softer, go with the ultraskin ivory soft, it's the bounciest of the bunch, or they have a super soft in black.

Just looking to get some insight. Has anyone played with both and have a comparison or opinion? Specifically in relation to deflection, soft/stiff hit, shaft flex and overall feel.

I didn't realize they weren't normal. I figured it was because I've owned shafts at those specs, the meucci pro for example is 12.5, 14 inch taper. Is there a way to achieve that size tip with a longer pro taper that is not prone to warping?
