Warped Southwest- worth less, or worthless?

Pictures! Well, here they are. The plain Jane does roll a little bad- seems to be warped in the handle or at the forearm handle joint. I may look into having that one fixed. The other one rolls pretty well especially with the shafts on, so I will probably sell it as is. Thank you all for...

    couple cue identifications

Hi guys, I just bought a bunch of cues from an estate, the higlight being 2 Southwests, an older Schon, a very nice Jacoby, several older McDermotts, and a couple customs I have not been able to identify. Any help would be appreciated. The first cue has Ivory points and windows. The joint is...

Warped Southwest- worth less, or worthless?

I have an opportunity to purchase two Franklin era Southwest cues. Alas, they are both warped (the butts). Are these cues worthless, or is there some market for them? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

$25 for a piece of chalk is ridiculous!

Making them better players perhaps wasn't the right phrasing- they are the same players. But what each of them told me is that it helps them in some way- whether it be to get better action of the ball, or making more balls. Yes, one of these players cited specific types of shots where the tip...

$25 for a piece of chalk is ridiculous!

Thank you for illustrating my point! Clearly you haven't tried it. I didn't make a dime on the chalk- sold it for what I paid for it. The customers I mentioned are much better players than I am, and they are the ones telling me how good the chalk is, not the other way around.

$25 for a piece of chalk is ridiculous!

The overwhelming theme I get from reading this and many other threads on Kamui chalk is that most people who have tried it say it is better than any other chalk, and those who haven't say it can't be any better than other chalk. So who should you believe- the people who have tried it, or the...

    Lucasi vs. Pechauer

Whether a "custom" cue is better than a Lucasi or Pechauer is highly debatable. Also Lucasi and Pechauers both start at under $200, not $400.
