    760, How tight is right?

IMO, the 760 being made today is slower than 760 from 10 years ago. I've NEVER seen any installation that was too tight. How would you know it was too tight? I have seen a few too loose and fortunately they can be re-stretched.

Cues that play hard to get

Thomas Wayne should be added to that list. I'm not sure he's making cues any more.

Chicken Chit Move Or Not ?

I agree with Jeremy, All of the Above. I keep hearing what a great guy Hillbilly is but these stories keep coming up. I witnessed in person his complete lack of respect for Jose Parica at Derby City 2007. Hillbilly arrives late for their match and immediately starts giving Parica crap about...

    JoeyA's "SECRET" Bank Shot.

Rep to you Joey, I had some time last night to work with this shot. I had trouble avoiding the kiss using outside english (RH) and only made the ball once in about 25 tries, hanging the ball about 8 times. Using inside english I made the ball 3 times and left it hanging about 15 times, the...

    JoeyA's "SECRET" Bank Shot.

No second page?? Joey. I didn't have a second page. This "one pocket" shot comes up quite often. As a matter of fact it is in the Efren vs. Alex DVD from Derby City 08. Freddy comments that the shot requires lots of spin and that the farther away the more of the spin gets scrubbed...

    How many years?

I stated playing bumper pool at the YMCA in 1960 (6 years old). I absolutely loved it and when I told my dad he says that over at Grampa's house there's a table. Well that table is a folding Brunswick model with 1 1/4" balls. Didn't matter, I loved it. My other grandfather was a better...

What THREE things would you like to see your Pool Room Owner/Management Change.

My pool room used to have a VIP room with 6 Gold Crowns. This VIP room has been closed about 1 year now. The GC's were relocated to the front room. Not as nice as the VIP room, but still nice. The rate to play is $6 before 6PM and $7 after 6PM. So if you show up at noon you can play as long...

I didn't record it but I thought that he was going to scratch on the break. Can someone who taped it reply? I enjoyed the entire show. Paul Mon

Had my shaft turned down, may be regretting it.

I returned a 314 years ago to the factory because of a broken ferrule. When it was returned the shaft had been turned down to less than 12mm. I had a hard time using it. I had other players use it and they had the same results. You needed to have a great stroke to use this shaft. At the...

    wrapless cues?

I prefer wrapless for two reasons. 1. IMO, wraps don't all feel the same. Some are tacky and others are not. They also tend to get dirty and the feel changes again. 2. I like the looks of wrapless cues better than wrapped. I own a Blackheart cue. Here's the link to some wrapless cues...

Do you have a Pool Table in your home?

Great Table My favorite table. Wish I had one. Actually I missed out on one about 12 years ago for $1500. Instead I spent more for a GCIII. I have 4.625" pockets and 860 Simonis. Here's a link to some pictures before the cloth was changed. I play about 2 hours a week in the...

    Spinning the ball in

Ron, This brings back memories for me and it should also for you. When I first found Internet user group RSB back in 1997 the topic for months was "get in english". Here's my 2 cents. If I need to cinch a ball that's on the rail I use inside english. George Fels is another advocate of using...
