Benefits of playing opponents with less skill

I am only speculating, but it seems like your question is about games that are for 'fun'?! If that is the case, I would separate into a few categories like.... ones you want to 'school'.... play them tight as possible, run out or lock up, and never let them see the light of day social games...

Scott Frost vs Rodney Morris at Freezer's in Tempe AZ 10.13.19

LOL..... That kind of reminds me of something...;) Good luck with this Lenny. I hope I can make it down. Is Rodney in the valley a lot? I thought he was in Florida these days. I always enjoy his positive attitude! td

May want to try the Glenn(sp?) family collection. He has been posting of late, and seems like a person in the know given all that he has accumulated in his collection. td

Imminent worldwide availability: video of John's record-breaking 626 w/ player review

I can't for the life of me figure out why every bar/pool hall with multiple tv's doesn't have a library of pool videos and have at least one playing on one TV all the time. This one should be part of the scenario for every hall that does.... JMNSHO td

Imminent worldwide availability: video of John's record-breaking 626 w/ player review

I sat and watched John attempt at the record a couple of different days while he was here in the valley (Phx). I'm no master of 14.1 (high run is only 49) and I've not played it a lot.... but I watched him run 100's many times, 200's, a 300, and I think the back half of a 400 (or the whole...

anyone know the "yo yo " drill?

Pretty sick! I’d be happy getting out of the single digits. I might try some later, but hesitate a little as drills tend to get stuck in my head and I spend too much time on them.... Td

Trouble with extreme right or left English...

Nice posts Hu! I don't notice a difference from right to left, probably because I have just learned to adjust over time based on what works..... but I'll guess that anyone that is having the OP's scenario is keeping their head neutral without moving it and a dominant eye is distorting the...

Mosconi Cup - stating the obvious

I see both sides here... obviously talent/skills are requisite in this game, but... the team 'building' over the year(s) of the core group who remain substantially the same, by working together and sharing in the joy of helping each other to the next levels of skill are liquid gold IMO... each...

    9b Spot Opinions Needed

I like the 7/8... no way to hide the money ball in the rack, there is always going to be A ball to call on the break that a good shot maker can expect, not to mention all the Combos, caroms that ‘green light’ can go for.... in addition, there is no where (little to none) to hide from the 6 out...

    Developing Expertise In Pool

I think the mind will correct, without being 'told' to do anything as long as you know the intent, and LOOK at the outcome. Don't judge, just see it (the result) and our minds can correct all problems.... as long as there is a core skill base there. Personally I will always keep 'visioning'...

    An odd discovery

You definitely follow through to the left, as noted by the previous poster. Nice tape to show it if you look carefully. You also have a punch stroke, and may want to find a way to take the grip variable out of the equation to work on a more fluid motion. JMHO I have had any and all problems...
