Thanks for your reply Joey, the fan sounds like a good idea. I needed something to keep the dust away from the router, the first router started having issues after four months of use due to the dust I think.

I clean out all the sawdust and relube everything after every use. LOL

Hello Gary, The bottom ledge where the shield sits is slotted so the bottom can not slide out and the box is angled inward, the shield has some weight to it so it rest in the opening pretty secure and does not move, when the dust collector is turned on the suction really holds the shield...

Hello, I have a Jet 1hp 650 cfm dust collector hooked up to this enclosure and Was wondering if anyone had any information on the best amount and size of air inlet holes I should have to get the best performance. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I added a reversing switch to my penn controller and have been using it for over two years with no problems. I left the original on off switch intact and put the reversing switch right beside it.

There are three turning post in the control box that will let you change the speeds.

You box is full, what size are the sanding mandrels? If they are the right size I am interested. Thanks
