How many of you are ordering cues? Let's keep the cue makers going. I have a Southwest but Ned Morris is about the best. I keep him building.

I'm wondering if you could share SW's price list? If not on AZB, how about sending a private message?

Who knows what "center cue ball" control is about? Robin Dreyer knows and teaches this concept.

Yes, you've got it. Roy and Robin agree on what "center ball" is. Your first sentence shows the way to practice the shot with a straight in and CB to OB about one diamond away, then two diamonds separated, then 3,4, 5 diamonds away dropping the cue tip on the CB with each increase to get the...

Check him out on Ned Morris on Facebook. He has contact information there

Who knows what "center cue ball" control is about? Robin Dreyer knows and teaches this concept.

Yes, but 9 ball and 10 ball are so much different than snooker. So much shape is invaluable for the run out.

Who knows what "center cue ball" control is about? Robin Dreyer knows and teaches this concept.

The drill is about following the cue ball about 6" after the ball went into the hole for a straight shot. This is "center ball". If you know where tangent goes with stun, for example into the scratch pocket, the "center ball" will go about a few inches forward for shape.

Who knows what "center cue ball" control is about? Robin Dreyer knows and teaches this concept.

Center cue ball control is where the cue ball rolls about 6" inches past the cue ball with a medium or hard hit. If you know where tangent line will strike the rail, the "center ball" hit will go forward a few inches on rebound. If you take a ball and have it forward of the 8 ball mark about a...

Can anyone write more? Ned Morris' used cue prices should be as high as Pete Tascarella's or Southwest's.

Ordering a new cue from a known cue maker. Should you order two wood shafts made or obtain one CF shaft?

I have to assume you were fooled by the video. Ned's finish is absolutely first class. His cues perform the "hit" on the cue ball is as good as the best.

I'm sorry, but it's the truth. Ned Morris cues HIT the ball better than SouthWesst cues!! How do we tell the pool world? Can I do it here? I presume not possible.

Great for you, but did you know that SW cues are the best value resale, but they do not hit the ball so good. I have one in my closet, Jerry Franklin build, but it sucks compared to a Ned Morris cue. BUT how will we let the world know?

How many of you are ordering from the cue makers? We need to keep them in business and let them survive.

Ordering a new cue from a known cue maker. Should you order two wood shafts made or obtain one CF shaft?

Everyone used to order two wood shafts with the new cue being made. BUT, now... most of us have gone with the better carbon fiber shaft made by the major cue makers. I've been convinced that Ned Morris Evolution C/F shafts are better and cheaper than REVO. Let's face it.... no sand paper, no...

Shane Van Boening vs. Scottie Sheffler, Over $10,000,000 for Scottie, How much for Shane?

Yes, that is true. BUT, I'd still take Tiger Woods bank account and stay hidden. His 8 passenger jet landed in Augusta, GA. to attend the Master's. He's got to be worth about a $billion.

Southwest cues - reasons for their popularity

I've owned two SW cues built by Jerry Franklin in the mid 80's. I've also owned a real George Balabushka. Sold that one for $2500 back in the 80's to a guy in Chicago. But, I love Ned Morris cues. Their "hit" and his workmanship is the best I've known. And, I'm sure there are other cue...

My 10’ Brunswick Centennial Completed Restoration

Great table. Mark does wonderful work. He did my rails on a 9' Anniversary. Absolutely the best pool table guy in the business. The side pockets were too thin for us. I had "the cobra" cut them back to 5". I had his 45 level control table and it was awesome. Sold it and now play on 8 9'...

Shane Van Boening vs. Scottie Sheffler, Over $10,000,000 for Scottie, How much for Shane?

Maybe Shane should have practiced golf in South Dakota. Actually this makes me sad. Our pool champions should be paid high sums like the snooker champions in Europe.
