    Most beautiful cues out there?

Ned Morris cues are as great as anyone. Their "hit" is as great as any cues on earth. His workmanship is absolutely amazing. If you do not own one of his cues, you would not know. I do. I own 6 of his greatest cues. He is about the best I've ever seen. Ask Jay about his work? He owns a...

Maybe carbon fiber shafts arent so expensive.

With a CF shaft, I do not need a glove, do not need sandpaper, do not need powder and the shaft never gets banged up. Just a bit of alcohol glass wipe once a month keeps it clean. I'm all for it. Have three from Ned Morris Evolution shafts and one REVO.

Snap judgments on the J. Flowers JF-BK2 Break cue

Great to know. I ordered one yesterday. The JF-BK2 has not arrived yet but I know I'll love the carbon shaft. All of my cues have the REVO or Ned Morris' Evolution carbon shaft (which is just as good as the REVO but cheaper). Just can't stand to stroke with a wood shaft.

    How McDermott makes cues

I do not want to argue with you. I will stick to the old hand made cues instead of the automated cue builders. Have it your way.

    How McDermott makes cues

You can work it out yourself. Go investigate a "full splice" cue? I have a custom cue maker that does not use a CNC machine. Everything, except the lathe one one other is handmade. I'll go this way.

Great advice. Thanks so much. I just ordered one.

    How McDermott makes cues

Like ordering a sheet of plywood. Please support your custom cue maker. Now I understand why a Willie Hoppe Titlist cue will cost $700-800 more to start with the full splice.

    A Few CTE Questions

I'm not understanding your post. If you shoot a ball that you have less than 50% chance of making, why miss it and leave it as a duck? Why not play a safety? Please answer.

    A Few CTE Questions

God, if you can't make the ball within 50% chance, play a safety. This is the skill my teacher taught me. I work on safety practice a bunch. Who can argue with that?

Ned Morris cue made in 2010.

Butt is ebony with highly figured maple. There are six veneers in the 4 points. Everything white is ivory (before it was banned). I absolutely love the plain style of this cue. Oops, the screw protection is not down but it does go down (my mistake).

Sold Ned Morris Beautiful cue. Has 3 shafts, 2 are 13 MM and the 3rd is a 10.5MM

I did change the original ad. The butt is absolutely like Ned just finished it. If it was played someone kept it flawless. I did lower the price.
