4.5" for side pockets? I had a custom rail maker make my rails with 4.5" for corners and the side pockets. The side pockets were too tight. Even a 750 Fargo thought so. So I had Glenn Hancock (King Cobra) widen them to 5". So much better.

I find the true pendulum stroke very difficult to hit high english. Only because the cue tip is going down as the hand is going up. The tip almost always hits the table after the OB is gone. Seems to me to get the straight through stroke, the upper arm must come down. The old practice stroke...

If your shoulder drop lets the cue go straight, you'll have more power and there is nothing wrong with that. Some might miss hard shots and the probable reason is that the upper arm did not stay close to the body. Tuck your upper arm in for hard shots. Exercises for triceps muscles will help...

I have to think most pool players would not like 4" or 4.25" corner pockets on a Diamond. The deep shelf in the pockets of Diamonds make rattles SO common. Super surprising for players that come from Brunswick tables. Just about impossible to pocket a ball that hits the rail first.

The SW Franklin cues are nothing compared to the the Ned Morris cues. Sorry to write that, but it's true. Our teacher says the same thing. I'll get hell for writing that, but so what. I will sell them eventually.

What you wrote is exactly correct. I just wish someone could design a test where a Fargo 700+ player could try cues of hidden different makers and choose the best hitting cue of the bunch. But, then I even wonder if the ten year waiting list cue maker came in last, if it would change anything...

It's true!! I received the V-10 yesterday and this morning I applied it over the tip with a thin layer of Masters chalk residue. Taom is light green over the blue Masters. After 30 shots the tip is still solidly covered with light green. No miscues on draw shots. I love it. Zero residue on...
