What does pumping the cue over and over up in the air before their shot do for the pros?

Okay, but they are about ball level in their practice strokes. They move forward an inch or so and do the real stroke to the hole. I would love to see a golfer putting practice strokes up in the air for their putting strokes. That is NOT going to happen. We would all laugh if it did.

Did you see the new Video Projector System by Robin Dreyer?

Now Robin has a ceiling mounted projector at the side pocket. I saw this when I was up there taking lessons. New systems should take this projector. It makes everything on the table perfectly clear from end to end. We've got the 9 foot table with the projector at the end. That is good...

It's about as good as it can be, except we need better players than me.

Are you about to retire? How about a pool room like this. We do pay $25 each year and its all free! We have the ICA projector system. I am about just under Fargo 600 and about the best player in here. But, I work on it, take lessons and practice. Too old to play golf anymore with back...

    The Gold Crown Garage

Yes you do need ICA. Projector program by Robin Dreyer, ICATraining.com. We have it in our pool room and we use it continually. I'm guessing here, but probably the best training aid without a pool teacher beside you.

Clovis, New Mexico had two pool halls next to each other. Both had 5 snooker tables!

This is where I learned pool. On snooker 5' X 10' tables. One pool hall had one 9' pool table in the back. The other pool hall was run by a Mexican and that was his clientel but we used to go play there with zero trouble. $.25 a game of snooker. Only the Air Force guys would ask us (snooker...

    Straight pool specialists

I'm wondering if anyone knew that Robin Dreyer, pool instructor for over 30 years living in Portland, Oregon, teaches every pool game but his love is 14.1? I've never taken a lesson from him on that pool game, only 8 and 9 ball. I still do not play 14.1 or one pocket as I know of no one that...

ICA projector training. Robin Dreyer's amazing training system

Our pool hall has his ICA system with almost all of his modules. Absolutely about as good a training system without a pool teacher teaching beside you.

Robin Dreyer, pool instructor in Portland, Or. ICA projector genius

Fantastic pool teacher. I flew up and worked with him for two and one half days. This time we worked on 8 ball and 8 ball patterns. Almost always before we worked on 9 ball and shape on the next ball. We all know the games are very different. After the 8 ball break one needs to pick the...

What does pumping the cue over and over up in the air before their shot do for the pros?

I have to write "bull sh-t" on looking good if your not a pro doing the air "sky swish."

What does pumping the cue over and over up in the air before their shot do for the pros?

How would it be for someone who is a "2" in league to do this before her/his shot? I think a pool player must be over 700 to make the move (on this thread) or the crowd would go wild.

What does pumping the cue over and over up in the air before their shot do for the pros?

I'm not criticizing it, but I am curious if a pool instructor teaches this to his students.

What does pumping the cue over and over up in the air before their shot do for the pros?

That is a fact. With reading the posts on this topic, I'm so glad that only the great players do the "in the air stroking the cue". Would be sickening (only to me I suppose) to see a Fargo 600 and below performing it.

What does pumping the cue over and over up in the air before their shot do for the pros?

It's a habit. Will take 21 days to break it.
