I think I understand most of the game, but not 100%. Do you just choose if you want to play solids or stripes in your pocket after the break like 8 ball? Is the 8 ball the final ball you have to make before winning ( 7 solid or 7 stripe plus 8 ball)? Is this right or am I confused? Pardon my...

I agree, I'm sure there are some exceptions though. For the most part give me cocobolo, some crazy maple, bubinga, bocote...etc...no wrap for me either.

I had a 314-2, an OB and a Pechauer Pro plus... I now play regular maple shafts with a 12.5mm dia. Solid maple feels better and plays better for me. I'd like to try a Lakewood shaft at some point. Maybe in the future I'll try LD again, but probably not. Of the 3 though, I liked the OB the best.
