I played for years with a 13mm. When I bought a cue that had a skinny shaft and I thought it was great. I have now settled on 12.75mm and plan to stay there. I like solid maple too.
It is awesome! I haven't shot with a lot of different cues but the Pechauer feels great. My other one has a SS joint and I have to say I prefer the softer wood joint on the sneaky. The finish is outstanding too.
Just got this in the mail today and played a few racks. Pechauer sneaky Pete cue, 20oz, 58", 12.75mm shaft, Pechauer gold med tip. Not super custom or anything but it hits really well and feels nice to me. Just thought I'd share. 🍻
I just got this back from OB and decided I like my solid maple shaft more. It's an OB1+ just like the subject says. Has a new kamui clear black soft tip installed and the shaft has been brought down to 12.25 mm by OB. I would like $185 shipped.

That stinks. I think at least let the person know for the off chance they are still selling them. I would want to know if something I was selling was fake but didn't realize it.
Can't help with a hall in Chicago, but wanted to ask if there is a thread/sticky/sub forum for pool hall locations by state/city etc. that we can update and give/get a little info on?
I guess switching back to solid maple. I feel like I want to use the LD but I shoot just as well with solid. I suppose that kind of answers my question. Maybe I never needed any LD shafts in the first place. You have to try it to know though I guess.
Good points thanks. I'm by no means a pro player but I'm decent. I tried LD shafts and I really want to like them but I feel better with a solid maple and a nice tip. I'm not really a power stroke shooter, maybe that's why I like maple? I dunno. Again, just looking for some insight from...
