    Cte finally explained?

I really don't see what the issue is here. If this truly is "incorrect" then there is no harm to the Pro One system. And if it is "incomplete" then why not let a bunch of yo-yos have some fun with it? I've seen those videos. He's not monetizing them as far as I can tell, at least the last...

Just a thought on a test or demonstration to show that the aim line derived with CTE is not "influenced" - A few random OBs can be placed on the table by the foot string. The CB in each instance would be placed along the headstring. Shooter will align center CB to OB edge, then CB edge to...

Learn with an aiming system or not

My concern is, if your main problem is the thin cut, why overhaul your current game to just fix that one shot? You fix that one shot first! Do you actually go to a table and practice those thin cuts? Set them up with a GoPro (it can film 240fps) and you'll see why you miss them. Because...

These "AHEAD" pool gambling races are utter nonsense!!

You can sink the 1 on the break, then leave the 2-0 combo to win, in a matter of 10 seconds. And faster if you play win with 9 on the break. Compare that to when the balls start getting moved up-table in 1-pocket, and it can seem an eternity just to finish one game. It then becomes a game of...

Do you adjust your bridge hand position when the CB is farther away from the OB, given the same OB placement and same CB target line? Also, I've seen some CTE discussions that use 1/8 for the aim point on thin shots. Do you use that, or have you tried it?

Tiger may be the greatest in our era, but he'll need to beat Jack's majors count to be considered the best ever. I'd agree with the other three, however.

John, just wanted to ask.... so the "perception " of the angle determines the aim point on the OB? Also are the divisions on the OB from the view of the CTE line, or aim line?

Is it possible to train your mind and body to hit

I totally agree with this. If you miss the pocket on the long side for example, you're hitting the OB too fat, regardless of how you aim it or what English you put on the CB! You then must cut the OB thinner than you think you need to. Or, blame the system.

Is it possible to train your mind and body to hit

Yes why not? Imagine a line from the place in the pocket you're aiming through the center of the OB. Where that line exits the OB is the theoretical contact point. Now, imagine a parallel line going through the cue ball. Where that line exits the CB on the side of the OB is the contact point...

    Shaw's Aiming

Theoretically that is correct. Since an edge is an intersection of two surfaces. Since a solid sphere has only one outer surface, it cannot mathematically have an edge. What we perceive as an edge is our 2D representatio of a 3D scene - a front-on orthogonal view. Although, if you try to aim...

    Shaw's Aiming

My whole point is, I don't have the need to even think about angles. Aim - fire. A lot simpler. Level stroke? Nah, already thought of that. The cue ID is about 13mm or .512". The pipe ID is .75". So there's enough wiggle room to have the butt slightly higher.

    Shaw's Aiming

I think this "edge" thing is part of a whole "flat earth" conspiracy... maybe someone will say the cue ball is really flat!:D But yes, it's taking a 3D collision, and envisioning it in 2D orthogonal front view.
