You can make this one up...

That is nothing compared to two ads on Etsy, each advertising two "Balabuska" cues for $15K and $25K. The $25K cues are "autographed." These are Adams cues worth less than $1K. Both ads say that there is only one left. Either the seller is lying or a couple of people really got taken...

Buying a break cue, what’s the best non phenolic tip to choose from this list?

It's not on the list, but I just had a Navigator Break tip put on my jump/break cue. It's described as phenolic leather. I'm not sure exactly what that means, but it is very hard and it holds chalk. I haven't tried jumping with it, but it's great for breaking and miles above the Samsara tip...

    Missing shots more often?

I would get a pair of contact lenses. A lot of pros wear glasses, but wear contacts when they play. For short practice sessions at home, I will not bother with the contacts and just wear my glasses. But it's much easier to see with contacts.

    custom cue build

Chris Nitti is a really nice guy, and his workmanship is flawless. I think the waiting time for a cue is about a year and a half.

Players that DON'T like a slick shaft

I use a shaft cleaner and burnish it with leather. I do NOT want the shaft cleaned when I have a new tip put on. "Cleaning" always entails some sanding. After a while, I would end up with a toothpick. Toothpaste works well for ferules.
