Theres no angle, im not sure why everyone is seeming to get annoyed at this topic. Im simply trying to get a sense of how good of a player he was. Im not intending to lead his HOF charge.

Thank you for the responses - shouldnt this be considered? In his era of pool - wasnt being a great money player more prestigious - this thread is more focused on the HOF portion of my question than his overall speed. Jimmy, in his prime, was he one of the best players / could beat the top guys...

I certainly respect your opinion Bob - This was more trying to get a sense of his speed in his prime then me saying i am leading his hof charge. In his prime was he competing and beating the top players in his era ?
