Would love to buy a diamond pool ball cleaner

I don’t suppose there’s a previous thread with build instructions or something like that is there? It looks amazing

which favors the higher-rated player, winner break or alt. break?

Adding to my own idea. This adds additional strategy such as, if Player A is looking at a run out, do you take it or try and play one good safety then run out and retain the break?

which favors the higher-rated player, winner break or alt. break?

That’s such an interesting point that I think there’s another way it could be done and solve the argument completely. What if- player A Break and run = Player B break . So as long as both players get at least 1 shot, winner breaks? I’m thinking that’s a neat idea. I have little doubt I’m wrong...

100% agree. MMA cost boxing in a huge way

    Cleaning balls: wtf happened?!

If you ever slid down the road far enough you would have already known to keep your balls off the asphalt and rum can actually have a positive effect as long as care is taken. The cooling sensation from alcohol can be shocking to some

Is your game more strategic or tactical?

I agree. If I break and run, not diminishing that’s an incredible feat for me, it did not allow my opponent a chance to beat me. I understand it evens out and all that and I agree with the rules. But if I three foul my opponent, I beat them 3 shots in a row so good they couldn’t even touch the...

Is your game more strategic or tactical?

This is my only theory. I don’t know if I play more safeties than I would if I was running racks regularly, (because I’ve never been capable yet) but I know I have beaten better players than me by focusing on defense until that allowed me to win. I would rather 3 foul someone than make the 9, as...

    300 Ways book

I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a player version, worn from memorizing the rules of every game created and a nice unused collector lol. Thank you

Pros today vs the pros yesterday

I was hoping someone had an opinion on this. I had to quit bowling after a surgery before that was a thing. I quit watching when I quit playing and only recently realized anyone was doing that. It goes against everything I ever learned but it obviously can work and work well for some

Correct. That’s why it doesn’t matter that the stop signs aren’t enforceable. The law still says you must yield. The “fake” stop sign gets people otherwise not knowing the law to stop anyway. Out of the half dozen or so charges I listed that can still be filed if you’re driving in a parking...

Pros today vs the pros yesterday

If I were to guess I would say the oil pattern pushing and breaking down causes more variables than change on a table. Also, equipment capable of higher RPM now lends itself to making it harder to keep a line. Better pin action, though . I would be curious about oil, oil pattern, and overall...

met earl strickland yesterday in Albany. Videos coming

this is exactly what I’ve been pondering. I’m still pretty bad, and my G Core shaft is all I’ve used so I have no comparison. Deflection is pretty negligible unless it’s max spin, hard, length of the table. Obviously it’s noticeable then. Are you actually getting even less from your CF?

    Funny pic/gif thread...

These are all true most places. Parking lot stop signs, even the one as you pull into traffic on the main road, are almost never enforceable. It’s a moot point thought because the car entring the roadway still has to yield. The number of people that are clueless is the only reason for most of...

Shafts in case, tips up or down?

In the pockets but only if it has a ball return. Little known fact- Ball returns were actually invented as a long random maze to dry tobacco spit off the ball. They soon realized that if they made it stop at the foot of the table , it was also handy for gathering the balls. Also the reason why...

straight pool tour with earl- ?

I would never count on that though. It’s just a fact I would throw down a small amount of money on myself against anyone as long as I got the break. 1 game only. It’s a game where you can win by executing 1 good shot. My odds are not good and I wouldn’t bet much, but I’ve got a chance. Every...

Sweet Baby Jesus! Looks like he cut the barrel off a DeMarini and attached the handle to his pool cue. I’ve learned a lot today. Time to see if I’ve still got my old slow pitch bats

straight pool tour with earl- ?

And 9 ball captures everyone’s attention because I know I can play someone better than me and have a legitimate shot to win if I execute good safeties and can make an early 9. It’s also still a fair game because the more games we play it guarantees the best player ultimately wins. You could...
