I agree... it does make 8 ball more difficult. I only play 9 ball. So my references are all about 9 ball.

I agree shots and patterns are different... but they are just enlarged from what a bar box would be. Those bigger tables require a longer more accurate stroke, and when you move over to the bar box all it requires is a smaller stroke and less movement. Therefore in my opinion makes it much easier
