Actually the neato vacuum took the fuzziness off the cloth. Now it is smooth and crisp. I won't use it every time but it worked so well that I will use it once a month or so. I think if you tried a neato, you'd be blown away at the result.

Wow, I can't imagine the table ever being cleaner! The dog hair was from the floor... a previous vacuum. The blue was obviously from the new cloth. WOW!

sheldon I'd never thought of that! We have a neato d5 which does better in corners than a rumba. Trying it now. Seems to work great!

Hi folks I am in ATLANTA and looking to buy a unique pool table light for my GC2 table. I'd love to find a nice brunswick wooden light locally or some other interesting light. It's gotta be different & cool! Not interested in any lights that advertise alcohol. THANKS!

done! Playing tomorrow

Danny moore and his son Cody. It took them 6 hours. I am very pleased with the end result.

How long would it take to bring my table from the state it is in to a finished, ready to play state... including recovering and levelling? I ask because the mechanics are still not here but are saying they are coming tonight. I do not want them half assing this.

And to think that the movers/mechanics I hired didn't use a single moving blanket during the move. :angry: I wish I'd known better, I would have demanded it. There's definitely a few new scratches but there isn't much I can do now. I pulled all the tacks and staples. It took about 4-5 hours...

The table will most likely come apart tomorrow during setup and reclothing. I'll take pics of the dowels. They were smallish... slightly smaller than a pencil as I remember. BUt pics will tell tomorrow. I hope to be playing tomorrow night!

It does appear to be made from zinc as the gc2 specs note. Plated zinc.

Yes it peels off like old plating sometimes does.
