    Shooting drills or practice ideas?

However, by what you said it seems like you need more experience playing people to kind of get over that anxiety. Drills can't help with that. Playing local tournaments can. I have never suffered from social anxiety but I can say that a certain level of fear existed thinking I wasnt good...

    Mosconi Cup is a joke

Its similar to the Ryder Cup in golf that pits the US vs Europe. I like it and I like to see them all play with emotion and fire. I say if you dont like it dont watch it.

    Question for APA players

I guess I came across as an arrogant uncoachable teammate, which I am not. I have never given a coach attitude when they call a timeout, and I usually do what they tell me to. It just frustrates me internally when I know what they just told me is wrong or a 6 in one hand half a dozen in the...

    Quitting pool

Being someone that took the game up late (I am 43 and Ive been playing 2 years), the chances of me being an "A" player are slim. However, this is a great, very frustrating HOBBY. I can understand your dilemma, and coming to terms with our limitations is humbling, but in the end if it isnt fun...

To those that opted for Pro Cut Pockets

I will be ordering a 9' Pro-AM later this year to replace my GC 3 that has close to 5" pockets. To those that opted for the pro cut pockets, has your game improved since going with tighter holes? Im just trying to make the decision that will help my game the most. Does anyone regret not...

    Question for APA players

I guess my problem is more with the quality and timing of his timeouts than anything else. So many times he tells me to do the wrong thing, like shoot a shot this way which will clearly take my tangent line across the next shot instead of rolling into it, or play the pattern this or that way...

    Question for APA players

I am the captain of the team and I totally agree. Some people take coaching well and some hate it. I dont hate it if I ask for it, but I hate to be stopped when its clear I have a plan.

    Question for APA players

He is only slightly better than me. I have no problem asking his advice, I just dont think stopping me is always warranted.

    Question for APA players

I definitely dont think I dont have room for improvement, but I just feel like when Im moving around the table fluidly, I shouldnt be stopped. If I seem confused about how I should proceed or seem indecisive, yes, by all means call a timeout and lets discuss it. Nine times out of ten I miss...
