I just recently started doing drills and It really feels like Im getting worse. I have been playing like hell in my matches lately. I have put together a few break and runs though which I never did before.

When you practice, do you run drills or are you playing?

Last session I was 9 ball top gun, this session I cant run 3 balls. My shot making is so bad right now Im frustrated to no end. I dont know whats going on. Ive been doing the Zero-x drills and I think Im getting worse.

To me it takes out part of the game thats important too. Cheating the pocket is a great part of the game that super tight pockets all but eliminate.

There is a hump where there was a previous attempt at repairing a chunk of slate that broke off. Its not horrible but you know how it is, I know its there so it kills me.

where could I find a set?

Would it be possible to locate one piece of a GC3 slate? i.e. the head string slate. My table has a bad spot on that piece and I would like to replace it when I get the table refelted.

The only thing that saves me a lot of times is that I dont take a ton of hail mary shots. I will play defense on 10 straight shots if I think it will benefit me. Ive found that most people in APA hate to play defensive games.
