Ive Never Heard Efren Reyes Give a Testimonial For a Pool Cue Before.

This thread is so discouraging! I have spent so much on equipment to be like Efren! I didn't realize I just needed an old house cue that was warped with a slip on tip! LOL

    AZB Members in W. Ga?

I live about 20 miles due west of Atlanta just off I-20. Any members here live nearby? Maybe an opportunity to meet up as a group and play a few racks?

    Taom Chalk

I have read that the difference between TAOM Pyro and V10 is minimal, that the V10 is DEFINITELY better, but only in terms of not needing to chalk as often. Does anyone here have PERSONAL experience with both to comment on this aspect? Both are the same price everywhere I look, so no reason...

    Pool Ball Collecting.

I saw and really like this Cue Ball. I think it would look really good with a set of Centennials in place of the blue dot ball.

Anyone doing 3-D Printing? Idea 😁

This person makes a really nice chalker with a 3D printer and sells them for many types of chalk in different colors: www.cjpbilliards.com

Anyone have experience w Viking Seige CF Shaft?

Awesome! Now your wife is also able to join us at the cool kids table! :-)

You guys were correct as usual

I find a glove makes closed bridge shooting much more smooth. It's worth wearing one just for that. Open bridge? I see no advantage or disadvantage. When I miscue, it is ordinarily that I forgot to chalk, particularly on a strong follow or draw, or just crapped the shot with my stroke arm...

A Purple Five Ball Makes No Sense to Me

This thread is very interesting to me. My first set were Centennials. I still love them and think they are beautiful! A great tradition for sure. That said, I like MANY other color and style sets for no other reason than it makes the table more fun. If I'm going to go to a tournament, I...

Clean Gleem Polisher Review from an owner...

Well... after what I hoped was a very positive review for the CG machine and even my cool suggestions for how to decorate it with awesome stickers, they sold out within 2 days and the website has said "Out of Stock" ever since! :) I must be a really good salesman LOL... either way, I hope all...

Anyone have experience w Viking Seige CF Shaft?

You guys are all just a bunch of jealous haters! I love my 20 year old Viking! :) Be sure and zoom in to appreciate all of those beautiful blue rings that match my daughter's eyes! The picture is actually poor quality. It's a really beautiful cue in person even more so.

Got my table in the house today.

Congratulations on the baby on the way! Hope you enjoy the table in your home. I have had one for many years and my daughter was raised playing pool!

Anyone have experience w Viking Seige CF Shaft?

LOL :-) I totally hear you! I actually have a 20 year old Viking F-50 that I LOVE that I had made with the Sapphire Blue Toilet Seat points and rings! I thought it was beautiful then, and I still think it is today!

    Penguin Balls

They are $60 per set at penguin-brands.com and they look like the usual cheap set that comes with a Chinese made table. At least pay $40 more for a set of Dynaspheres would be my thought

Anyone have experience w Viking Seige CF Shaft?

That's the word... filament wound. Of course every company claims theirs is the best or unique. Is there any real difference between filament wound and flag wrapped in how they play? If I buy one will it make me as good as Efren? :-)

Anyone have experience w Viking Seige CF Shaft?

Their video on their site is impressive and they claim a unique CF construction technology. Anyone played with one or able to compare to others?

Finally made the jump to an LD shaft

Congratulations on the new LD shaft and results! Maybe someday for me, but I have been playing with my same Viking standard shaft on my customized F50 for 20 years. I'm so used to it that I fear changing would destroy my game! Guess I will just take this one to the coffin with me. :-)

Is This a STALEMATE, or is There a SMART WAY OUT?

I always enjoy learning from you. Thank you for your contributions Dr. Dave. I can't tell you how many of your videos I have watched more than 10 times!

    Clean balls

I suspected you might be the type who would prefer dirty balls. :-) Over the years, I have accumulated 15 or so sets and I like them all so I play them all and switch out regularly. It just makes the table more fun. Pool halls are fine, there just isn't one within an hour of here.

    Clean balls

I like for the balls to be clean when I play. Simply because they always play CONSISTENTLY. I change out the balls at least weekly, and sooner if there is a lot of play. Each time they need to be cleaned, or weekly at least, I clean the outgoing set and put them away as I put a fresh set on...
