    "Gold Crown" Ball Polisher

If there are 20 hours of skilled labor required at the bargain price of $20.00/hr. then just the labor would be $400. Of course, Diamond makes many at a time and has the parts templated and ready to assemble. Probably only an hour to 2 hours per unit in labor, but to build one yourself like...

    "Gold Crown" Ball Polisher

Thank you for posting your progress and the complexity of the work! This clarifies for anyone who has a question that there is real value in the "high price" of the Diamond machines! I am amazed that they can sell them as reasonably as they do!

BLUDWORTH vs DIAMOND vs BALLSTAR BALL CLEANERS

I agree. This website seems poorly made and low quality for an international business. Especially this part: "and we have developed a new ball machine of high-technical by ourselves based on long experience in this field, and the dirty ball will be on the birth of a new cleaned ball by the...

BLUDWORTH vs DIAMOND vs BALLSTAR BALL CLEANERS

Isn't Ballstar actually made in S.Korea where it was originally designed? Here is their website: https://ballstar.en.ec21.com/company_info.html S.Korea is a free republic while China is a dictatorship if that matters in the purchase, and to many, it does.

BLUDWORTH vs DIAMOND vs BALLSTAR BALL CLEANERS

So would you recommend the Ballstar liquid cleaner sprayed on? Or the 1Tbsp to 1 cup Aramith to Alcohol mixture as a spray? What do you recommend as a cleaning agent to maximize the life of the platter, side wall and sprocket carpet?

BLUDWORTH vs DIAMOND vs BALLSTAR BALL CLEANERS

What led you to get the Bludworth and get rid of the diamond? You are the first I have ever heard with a Diamond who left the cult! :-)

BLUDWORTH vs DIAMOND vs BALLSTAR BALL CLEANERS

The Bludworth website is very poor. There is very little information. Also, in the group I am looking at, it is the most expensive when shipping is added. I have never seen one in person but here and elsewhere it is described as a plastic bucket cleaner with a better design. Here, in the...

BLUDWORTH vs DIAMOND vs BALLSTAR BALL CLEANERS

Actually yes... really. Go to youtube and watch how it works. It does one cycle applying cleaner during the entire cycle, then it reverses. At that point, the applicator for the cleaning solution closes and the balls are dried and polished. It's really a smart idea. What I would REALLY like...

BLUDWORTH vs DIAMOND vs BALLSTAR BALL CLEANERS

Please help bring this thread up to date! I have decided to buy a ball cleaner for home use. I am NOT interested in building a bucket cleaner that clacks the balls together and speeds the wear on the finish over time. I am willing to pay what is required for one of the better products...

Hope for the future of Pool !

I ran across this and was super excited to see what they are doing to offer a great place to play for families, younger players and anyone interested in learning the game and being in a league as recreation. Wow how I wish someone around me had the expertise to open such a room. I would join...

    Vacuum for table

It's expensive but our home vacuum is a Miele C3. It has 8 settings for suction strength. I put it on the lowest setting for curtains and use a small furniture attachment that came with it. It pulls out all chalk and after just over 20 years, I still have my original Mali cloth. No pills or...

    Aramith marble balls

I have the Elephant Beautiful set that is swirled like that. They are very attractive with deep colors. Interestingly, it is also my wife's favorite set as well.

Ali Express Billiard Ball Cleaner? Anyone seen or used one?

This is the first DIY I have seen that looks like it doesn't actually harm the balls. I have seen all of the videos of DIY bucket cleaners and the balls constantly clack and rub together. It doesn't take an engineer or physics major to figure out that is rapidly aging the finish on the balls...

Ball Polisher Makers Here On The Forum?

I have looked at Bludworth, Ballstar, Cleen Gleam, and Diamond cleaners. Diamond seems clearly best, but good luck trying to find one in stock ANYWHERE if you only want the smaller model, and shipping cost is very high in addition to this being a very expensive machine in the first place. I...

    Arcos II or Tournament Black

Same here. People here argue a lot about the quality between Tournament and Arcos II. While not scientifically studied, I own and play Arcos II, Tournament and Centennial sets. The Arcos II set stays clean longer and cleans up more easily than any other set I play or have ever owned.
