What do you think of the table not having a center beam to prevent sagging? Every time I see tables constructed like this I think, “ that in 10-20 years there’s going to be a low spot in that slate”.

On Seybert’s web site they have Vanadium 572, 57.2mm(4 1/4”) 169 grams and Vanadium English 524, 52.4mm(4 1/8”) 169 grams. How can two advanced phenolic balls of different sizes weigh the same? Reminds me of the small ball set at Shooters. Are English balls used on snooker tables?

They have those at the Cue Club in Vegas, I was constantly shooting them out of order.

Typical play on fast cloth. Over run a bunch of shots then get gun shy and under run a bunch, then back and forth. Yes, it's frustrating.

I went on Aramith’s web site, turns out you can order Premier ball set in sizes from 1 7/8 to 2 1/4 in 1/8” increments. Someone ordered must have ordered the wrong size🙈

One of the regulars told me they were all small. I said “no fing way”. I pulled out my Willard ball gage and sure enough all of them were small.

I’ll at Shooters in Port St Lucie, all their Aramith ball sets are 2 1/8”. Crazy

Someone told me the RKC stuff was very hazardous stuff and they discontinued it. Is that old or bad info? Thanks

John Smchidt was something like -8 and beat one of the Philippine players maybe six years ago. It was something to watch.

This is probably something I need and have been looking for. I know something is off but need help figuring it out. I practice the stop shot drill a lot. Even when i feel like I’m hitting the ball well I can’t get thru all 15 object balls without missing a few balls. I’m just as likely to miss...

Thanks for the pic. A long while ago this is what I mentioned in a previous thread, about modifying the facing to adjust the angle and tighten the pocket. I’m guessing but was the original angle 146 and you changed it to 141?

All that is true but plenty of rooms have closed at least partly because of uncontrolled rent increases or landlord sold the building to developers.
