I own 3 very nice player cues, a Joss and 2 Schons. My playing level these days is about on par with a $14.99 aluminum cue with screw on 14 mm tip from K-Mart.

I'd go for the director's chair, and if I had any tool skills would make a cue holder to fit one of the arms. I used to slot race and took my own stool to use when racing....old legs and back was the reason.

I'm a lefty, when I started I had a heck of a time finding a left-handed cue that worked for me.
