    McKendree U. in Lebanon, IL, pop 3500, Vic's tavern, about 1966/67. and yes, main street still had a few hitching posts!!! I think we still had buck pitchers for special occasions, or if the beer was cheap, i.e. Busch Bavarian or Stag.

    yeah, I played on 9 foot snooker tables, then went to college with a few bar boxes in the student center. I wiped the floor with the guys that thought I couldn't play a lick because I was from a small town. Those Valley pockets looked HUGE after coming off a snooker table....HUGE.
