    Its fun in the beginning when you don't know what you don't know, and the longer you play, the more you realize just how clueless you are. The only "game" more frustrating is golf, and that's because of all the walking and the weather.

    so my Schons and Joss cues with SS joints are now worthless junk???? But my Schmelke with a 3/8 x 10 wood to wood joint is a priceless keeper??

    need a tip made out of something like silicone, very grippy and instead of chalking it, just wipe it with a damp cloth to remove dust/debris. Make a tip out of the same stuff they made the Wham-O Super Balls out of, whitey would LEAP off your cue tip!!!

    Masters is the standard, although Triangle is the "sleeper" in the Tweeten family of chalk, its actually a bit better than Masters. I don't have a table, I don't care if my hands get dirty...sort of a badge of honor. I can always "pick up" a cube of Masters along the way.....not so likely...
