Is your most often used cue and favorite cue, the same?

That is a beautiful cue. I am far away from going cf for the shaft though.

Very nice cue, B! You are one of the people here that contributed to me looking at the roasted maple shafts. I have 3 currently and I might add one more. I have a decent Jacoby (leather wrapped) that I pair with a Schmelke kw/roasted maple. I split my play between that and a Gold Rush wrapless...

A nice, not too flashy, cue. I dig it. Thanks for sharing.

Is your most often used cue and favorite cue, the same?

I don’t disagree. I came in kind of hot and have already picked up around 10 cues in the last 5-6 months that I got back into playing. I made this post was just to get a sense of what some other people have tried. In my short time, I realize that slightly more of us here have to buy something to...

Damn it Maha! Stop being one of the most reasonable and balanced people (from the 15-20 posts I have seen you comment on) on this site. Unsolicited and unnecessary comments are what keep the “real” engagement going. Seriously though. I agree. If I need a “senior” (notice I didn’t say senior...

Tascarella Cue questions...for owners and previous owners...

You, sir are not alone, even if our motivations are different. I am not facing a decision at your level, but only because I am getting back in so many years later. I just don’t have the same connection to cue builder’s or even pool rooms as many here. One thing I found out is I have a cap on...

Hey, some of you (most of you are older than me by 25+ years) remember the wood shed. This would have been handled in less than 5 minutes behind the wood shed. Many of you all have forced a kinder, gentler world. OK, I will play along. Rules is rules.

    Underappreciated Cue Makers Section

I picked up a Gold Rush cue (I believe I am the 2nd owner) made by Kevin McClain. A little heavier than my usual player (19.6oz), but one thing I noticed is the butt and shaft are as close to perfectly matched as any of the other butt/shaft that I own. To be fair most of my shafts I own are made...

Sounds like a self-correcting system. Bad thing happens, member provides feedback. Other members take note and decide on their own whether or not to do business with that individual, correct? Am I missing anything?

Is that your favorite and most played with setup?

What brand/model/cue maker butt and shaft do you most regularly shoot with? In a handful of discussions that I have had, sticking with the same cue is recommended for skill development or to play consistently. Anyone disagree with this?
