There is a great tool at timeanddate dot com, namely Time Zone Converter. Enter any locations you need to compare and the time you want. In this particular case, 12:30 in Manila gets you to 0:30 EDT (like Washington, DC). Yes, that is 12:30 a.m. - of the same day (EDT zone is 12 hrs behind)

That's a poor excuse, IMO. An aspiring fan is supposed (or should I say, obliged) to get familiar with the history of the game. Which in case of pool/billiard is pretty deep. I'm sure it is not about a certain color of the ball which we feel very sad about. It is the history of the game we love...

A couple of AZers suggested MR is yet to admit the mistake. Actually, at one of the podcasts/interviews, be it Windows Open or Boyes youtube, Emily finally agreed that messing with ball colors was a mistake. So what? We are still there with that Blak ball set. Probably because it is so hard to...

I have no strategy in this regard, as long as I see there is no way for our concerns to be considered by Matchroom. Okay, hope there is, but it is really in vain, so again, no strategy. Not about things which are out of your control, you know.

And pretreat the cloth so that is plays like a two-week broken in. This will make pool a better viewing product.

    MR format racking preferences

A randomizing app is fine - probably for those people who don't trust simple things. There is an easy way to rack balls randomly without any kind of software. Watch referees at WPA tournaments do this.

They don't allow chicken inside big shopping malls in Manila :) So various poultry species flock around outdoor sheds with a pool table.

Matchroom wildcard should go to Rubilen Amit. Or Chezka Centeno. Actually, they both deserve a place. Pity MR did not see it.

Controversial Non-Call of WRONG-BALL-HIT-FIRST FOUL - Hanoi Open - Capito vs. Lechner Quarter Final

WPA rules have a section about protest ruling process. A player is entitled to disagree with ref's call, and there is an official procedure of how to issue a protest to TD.

Finally! Kudos jbart for compiling such a list. Hopefully you could update it, as there could be more to add. Thus far I'd like to comment on a couple of things you mention. It is about the points system MR uses. First, being too top heavy. This is what Barry Hearn wants. Quotes: So this...

There is a tiny chance someone from MR team gets a glimpse of all the good points here. Like there is a member who is in touch with AZB for their streaming app. Emily personally does not care too much about emails addressed to her in regard with what she is doing wrong.

In case of "one guy", that guy won many games and is the only one going home after one defeat (if B-side player wins). In case of "a bunch of guys", it just shows they were not good enough today to qualify for the single elim stage. They had their chance and failed. But I don't quite get all...

Double-elims at preliminary stage, I think, are meant to give players a chance to redeem themselves in case they slip once. Those who made to KO stage without a loss don't need such a chance, hence there is nothing unfair about this. (What is definitely unfair though, is having a DE tournament...
