Absolutely. He has a website. www.dzcues.com His work is some of the cleanest in the business. He is fairly well known in Cue Maker circles. 😉

    Predator Shaft Query

In my line of work, we teach the youngins, if you don't know what happens when you press the button...don't press the button. If you were unsure of the construction on the business end of your shaft, and you didn't have an experienced repair person immediately available...in my opinion you...

    Underappreciated Cue Makers Section

My guess is that due to the initial weight of your shafts (over 4 oz), coupled with a g10 joint pin, the overall balance point of your cue was too far forward. For my taste, anything north of a 19.25" balance point is a no go.

Once you adjust your aim slightly, you'll be just fine. I don't know that the shaft in and of itself will "improve" accuracy. The accuracy improvement will come from dialing in both your aim, and your stroke.

I would agree. I don't really care for flat faced shafts much lighter than 3.7. Granted the construction/weight placement of the cue/shaft has a role. Both of my AVID shafts are around 3.75 to 3.8 oz.

I tried the AVID after trying Carbon Fiber, Kielwood, etc. I prefer the AVID 12.75 as well. I don't know why...I just like it better. 🤷

I usually like my cues around 14.8 to 15.0 oz (butt), 3.7 to 4.0 oz (shafts). Seems to generally land the overall balance where I like it. 👍
