    Relaxed vs raised shoulder?

You do a lot of fidgeting with your feet when you’re down on the shot like you’re not only checking your arm but trying to find the shot line. Stand up behind the CB and find the shot line first , step a little to the inside of it with your right foot and then step into the shot with your left...

    Relaxed vs raised shoulder?

A man is buying a very inexpensive suit but notices the left arm is much longer than the right and the right leg is too short. The salesman advises him to raise his left shoulder to tuck the lapel under his chin and to keep his right knee bent while walking. The man buys the suit and limps out...

This Is What I'm Talking About

I think you need to focus on 14.1 or 1p where big spreads on the break are what you don’t want. You would then need to work on precision instead of power. You would need to get another table though. Diamonds and GC’s are power break tables and you would need a precision break table

Early Impressions Of The Diamond Professional

Won a big pop & squat contest years ago where a bunch of locals got together to see who could get the CB up in the air the highest after contact with the head ball. It was fun and just for show and I’ve used a softer controlled break for quite a few years now. It was more useful in 3 ball

More aiming fodder for the cannons.

Ghost Ball, CTE, various track systems, sit, cit, deflection, swerve … etc, Damn!! What’s it all mean? It means that all systems work and none of them work. You pick one that doesn’t work, practice and practice and soon your brain starts making little adjustments without telling you about it...

Early Impressions Of The Diamond Professional

Nope explained it correctly. You can even hold the cue level at your side loosely with thumb and forefinger and rotate your hand like you’re trying to lift the tip(hammer head) without moving cue. This is how I rotate it on backswing and snap the hammer on return.

Early Impressions Of The Diamond Professional

I’m old school and was taught that as my grip hand comes back to visualize holding a hammer. My rear fingers fall away as I cock my wrist lifting the head of the hammer as high as I can, cue doesn’t actually move, just hand rotation. As I come forward, with perfect timing I might add, I snap the...

Early Impressions Of The Diamond Professional

You should spend a little money and visit a top instructor somewhere. Have them check out your break, fundamentals .. etc. without any video we can only guess at what your problems are .. good luck!

More aiming fodder for the cannons.

Didn’t Willie teach a similar system called the track or railroad track? The contact point on the OB was the same but the contact point on the CB was determined by using a parallel line to that of OB not line to pocket

Parts to convert Gold Crown 5 to ball return

No, it’s a 1x3 support that runs across the top of the ball box. The balls can roll underneath it from front to back of ball box but there’s only a 3/8 inch gap from top of balls to bottom of support. Reach under It to grab a ball can rip the skin off your knuckles pulling it out if you forget...

Parts to convert Gold Crown 5 to ball return

I love having a ball return on my GC IV but hate that piece of wood running through the ball box.
