Guy came into hall probably 30 years ago or more in central Illinois pushing his line of cues. The cues were beautiful with shafts that were darker than normal. He said all his shafts were made of old driftwood. Can’t remember who he was or if driftwood is good or bad but they were pretty!

I see them incorporating an extension into the butt of the cue either at the joint or butt cap. Give it a twist to unlock it, slide it out to desired length and twist to lock it

As long as you don’t paint it as a cross dripping Christ’s blood I think you’ll be fine

What I don’t understand is when I read about players who use multiple playing cues, different shafts, tips … etc. some depending on what game they’re playing, others just seems to depend on their mood that day. More power to ya if you can do this but my consistency would suck!

I cleaned by hand for years but just recently started using a machine. The machine shines them really nice and cleans them ok but there are always a few balls that need touched up by hand
