Yes they do, I’ve watched a lot of 9 ball tournaments, pro level, where there were even 2 slop shots by the same player in a game. He would wave to his opponent to apologize but it still counted
I think the games should be 8 ball or 10 ball, I grew up on 9 ball but slop has changed the outcome of so many tournaments. Why be rewarded for a miss?
There should be a 30 second shot clock with one extension per game
Usually fear is just a lack of confidence in your own ability and how you talk to yourself before a shot. A long straight in shot on a 9 foot table used to scare me even though I would make it a hundred times a day in practice.
