Referee John Leyman Pro Rule Change

Ultimate Pool USA uses a similar rule where you cant touch any ball until the cue ball stops (they use ball return tables) Its also loss of rack if you catch a cue ball that is going to scratch.

Double Hit or Not? You Make the Call.

45 degrees left or right, but not jacked up, correct??

Double Hit or Not? You Make the Call.

Do you think it is possible that the 45 degree rule was misunderstood in the very beginning and that it really meant that you supposed to shoot the cue ball at a 45 degree angle away from the object ball instead of jacking up your cue at 45 degrees?? I never understood what jacking up 45 degrees...

Unaware of mismatched ball sets in upcoming tournament.

I hope that they either have a Delta or Diamond wood rack. In 8 ball I always look for loose balls while pushing the back row forward, if I find any they go in the back row starting at the corners and working their way in wards, hopefully there are no more than 5 tiny balls. You can do the same...

    Verhoeven rail bolt torque specs.

How would the bolt not be over torqued if the wrench clicks before the bolt turns? If my torque wrench is set at 100 ft lbs and the bolt turns before the wrench clicks it would be torqued to under 100 ft lbs. If I try the same bolt and it does not turn before the wrench clicks it must be over...

    Spinning Ball

I was expecting it to be a spinning cue ball and the shooter didnt notice until he hit it and the cue ball took off on a right angle.

Longest you've seen someone hold a challenge table for $$

Back in 2004-2005 on the outskirts of Milwaukee I held the challenge table for 2 racks at $2 per rack, I lost the 3rd game. :(:(

    Roland Garcia at Griffs

The announcers said he not only jumped the edge of the 10 but also the point of the side pocket, if you watch it frame by frame you can see its not really that close to the point of the side pocket, still a great shot though.

Double Hit or Not? You Make the Call.

On the initial normal speed replay I called it a good hit because of the cue ball action but then you got me and I changed my mind on the slo-mo view, great job!!! What we can't see in the slo-mo view is whether or not the tip is offset from the cue ball centerline, if the tip is in fact offset...

    Verhoeven rail bolt torque specs.

If the wrench clicks before the bolt moves that would be an over torqued situation, not "under torqued". If the bolt does not spin before the wrench clicks that means that the bolt is already tightened higher than the settings on the torque wrench. I'm not sure how accurate torque settings will...

“Less Lucky” Version of 10 Ball?

If you don't like luck being involved in pool instead of rotation you could just challenge opponents to shoot spot shots all night long.

“Less Lucky” Version of 10 Ball?

There is no better way to kill pool than call shot/call safe 10 ball. People already bitch about slow play and the need for shot clocks, it would be over the top slow with the above rule set.

“Less Lucky” Version of 10 Ball?

Wait a minute, that cannot be true. According to so many here on AZB Fargo sucks and is not at all accurate because everybody is sandbagging which knocks about 150-200 points off of their Fargo rating. That means all of the 620's you see in the wild are really 820's.

Best 7’ table other than Diamond!

What???? If you cant run racks on a Valley you are probably not a "serious player".

Isn’t pool supposed to be dead?

If what you say is true you don't play in very competitive leagues. The leagues I see a lot of the players are drinking alcohol and if they do its only a couple of drinks for the most part. Like most activities that involve alcohol you always have those few that have way more than everyone else...

    Do I really NEED a $10k table?

Probably the worst thing to happen is to buy a table that you find you don't like to play on. Then the table never gets used and regardless on how much you saved its all a waste of money. The worst thing about used furniture tables is that a lot of them use pressboard, a lot of times the holes...

Best 7’ table other than Diamond!

I see. As you can see in post #41 above those are quoted from posts with your name, in your original post that I quoted there is nothing there saying that it is a quote from someone else. Confusion solved.

Best 7’ table other than Diamond!

If you read the 2nd quote it reads like you prefer Rebco and then mention that they are 1/2 the price of a Diamond. sorry for the confusion.

Best 7’ table other than Diamond!

You preferred a Diamond but In 2 minutes you couldn't find a Rebco website and went to preferring a Rebco table over Diamond???

White vault plate vs Black vault plate, does it matter?

So a pad like the clear "pad" on a Kamui tip and a vault plate are 2 different things? I would assume that the vault plate stays with the shaft were as you get a new clear "pad" with each Kamui clear tip.
