What's the difference between a spectator chair and a regular bar or kitchen stool?

Patience and thriftiness saved money. Three solid wood stools for $4 each from a Church sale. Spectator chair for $100 cash on Facebook Marketplace. The spectator chair is my favorite.

    The bangers are getting better

What’s a banger anyway. The first I ever heard the term was in ‘The Color of Money’ when Eddie calls 9 Ball a game for ‘Bangers’.

    Delta-13 rack inserts

Every time my Delta 13 clanks and clangs is a reminder I’ll never need to purchase another rack in my lifetime.

Hours, weeks, months, years, and I’m still lousy

I was not delivering the cue straight on every shot. Steering, deceleration, head movement, jerky stroke, and eye patterns were all prevalent and poor. No preshot routine, consistent stance, or shot visualization to speak of. And the king of all pointers I learned was having a slow...

Hours, weeks, months, years, and I’m still lousy

This was me. A couple years ago I purchased the latest Jerry Briesath instructional video, and after following his advice on basic basic fundamentals I never realized how poor mine were. I’ve really improved and become much more consistent as a result.

    What happen to Pan Xiaoting?

I always remembered her as Xiaoting Pan back in the ESPN days. Still can hear Mitch Laurence saying her name over and over. This was also the Ga-young Kim era (or is it Kim Ga-Young?)

A week after taking lessons from a pbia master im worse?

I started playing recreationally in my early teens, and with my self taught experience I would say my skills peaked around age 20. Basically I was no better at age 50 than age 20 until I started to look for assistance. While books have been ok, nothing increased my skills in short order than...

    Jayson Shaw's 714 becomes 669?

I don’t care where the run started. When you run 600-700 balls the first 15 are 1-2% of the total. The guy ran nearly 50 racks without missing. Good enough for me.

BAD CALLS in Pool ... FOULS that Weren't Called

Found this Crane v Lassiter match during the Legendary Pocket Billiards Stars Tournament from 1983 I believe. Double hit on the 6 ball at 1:55 A total of four HoFer’s playing, refereeing, and commentating and nobody caught it 😊 Ultimately the non-call was incidental to the outcome.

    Using bowlliards to track progress?

This game showcases my inconsistency. Interesting my average is still hovering around 70 through the peaks and valleys. I really think getting a good spread break on the break is key; most frames start with 1-2 balls in the kitchen, a few more along the rails an/or clustered around the side...

    Using bowlliards to track progress?

Got a 102 today, my high score since keeping records in January. Could have stretched the score a little further except for missing a relatively easy final ball spare in the 10th. No strikes, but cashed in several spares.

Should we start a petition to change the 5 ball back to orange again?

(EDITED) The earliest match I can find is 1996 And surprised I have not found any mention the traditional colors being used at this years DCC It was odd seeing the traditional colors at the DCC, an event that always seems to feature the latest equipment offerings.

    JJ Needs some new commentary

^^^This^^^ And worse yet is when two commentators constantly speech collide. Usually happens when they disagree. My favorite JJ commentary is when he’s solo in the booth. Same with Earl. I’ve said it before, don’t need more than 1 analyst in the booth. One analyst and the other can be...
