I tested it exactly same conditions. We have 4 inch new Rasson table in our club with slick cloth. It will go because it is perfect half ball hit with slow speed and cut induced throw is maximum there and it will transfer spin so much to object ball that it will have little running english on it.

Ok i admit I was(and Sky) wrong. I tested it and slow half ball you can barely dodge double kiss. Cueball will end up far to side rail for difficult 9 ball though...

cant get both. Hit is too thick for that. I would either just bank 8 to end rail containing safety and let opponent try long bank or i would try bank it 2 rails side pocket. 2 rail bank have cueball dangerous close to corner though..

st Set this bank up and shoot it cross side and tell me how it goes... Take as many tries you want. I say you wont make it. Because it need thicker hit than half ball. It is double kiss.

Bank was impossible one rail. Sky was right. Bank was possible only 2 rails or it would double Kiss..

Best is not to use English on near straight in shots. You just add another variable. Try focusing how much cueball moves sideways on stun shots. What route cueball follows object ball with follow shot. Also what line cueball is drawing back with low english.

I feel fast, confident rhythm is needed to make big runs. There is catch though. Recognizing when to slow down and think is crucial skill on 14.1.. Kinda 6th sense... of Danger! :)

I tried too 14.1 on our new 4 inch pockets Rasson. I made 3x 70+ but I don´t have drive to practice 14.1 now. I hope i get inspired to put some runs for this year too. Tight pockets on 14.1 are very tolling for focus. It just drains you.

I now just installed Rasson. It is with 4 inch pockets. It is playing very nicely. Tested it 2 hours. First rack on Rasson. New kamera. I Will also soon have Rode audio system for good sound.

It happens all of us sometimes. Best way is to compete more and you get used to it and then it kinda goes away. Other options would be search Youtube and look for fast relaxation techniques. Practice those beforehand and then apply that tech in real situtation.
