    Id cue please.

Excellent work Benelli! I will take the clear coat off and preserve the sig. Not sure what they used but it has lots of bubbles in the finish and a lot of buildup and delam on the joint. The points have around 3/4 of an inch mismatch.

    Id cue please.

No frills points I guess I should have said. I think the joint is phenolic but can't tell until I get the clearcoat off of it. It's short by about 2-3 inches.

Picked this sneaky pete up recently. Any idea who the cue maker is? Needs some work but hey practice makes perfect. Thanks in advance

    CA clearcoat SS joint.

I wanted to follow up with what worked for me. I used a sharpie marker on the ss joint while turning it in the lathe. Just colored it while it turned. I dropped the playing card application and went to a paper towel to put the CA on. After 5 or 6 coats you just have to touch the CA on the joint...

    Buy UltraSkin Layered Cue Tips

They were amazing tips. I miss them. I love when I walk into a shop and someone tells me they have Moori tips. Uh yeah... no you dont.

    Starting a Titlist conversion soon

Starting a Titlst conversion soon. It has a much larger handle diameter than today's cues. I have to assume that is just the way it is. Looking at other conversions they have the sticker intact which tells me they are not cutting down the diameter of the handle. What are you all doing?

    CA clearcoat SS joint.

That sounds like it would work. Wonder if petroleum jelly would do the same. (Waiting for the jokes)

    CA clearcoat SS joint.

Coating my current work and it has a ss joint. Using CA. What is the best way to keep the CA off the SS collar. Tried blue masking tape but now have CA build up on the tape on the joint. Thank you in advance

Redoing a Huebler that had an A joint problem. Pretty much fixed that. Now doing the clear coat. I put the epoxy on it and about fell over.. what type of wood is this? (I hope it pops like this after the final coat of CA)

Older players... what do you do?

    Low deflection shafts and BHE

BHE = back hand english - used to counteract the affects of deflection imposed on a cueball when hitting it off center. Can't use bhe when using a low deflection shaft.

Older players... what do you do?

Getting back into playing again. Been out of it for a while. I am now 30 lbs heavier than I was, have a belly and not able to get down on shots like I used to. I know losing weight is a start but what else can I do to allow me to bend my neck far enough to look down a cue? I have tried...

    Low deflection shafts and BHE

Been looking at carbon fiber shafts and have a dilemma. I like the convenience of using BHE. Aim swivel shoot. I have a 314 and put a kamui ss on it to allow me to play BHE with it. I have got so used to playing with BHE that low deflection aiming is actually more difficult for me now. Did I...

    old school drills?

Been getting back into playing. Started with the L, Drawline and climbing the ladder. These are all fine but I find playing the ghost has elevated my game the most. Add in if I miss I spot the shot with paper aholes and practice it till I make it 10 times in a row. I really miss the days I...
