Mike is building me a Red Morrel and Ebony Hoppe cue at the moment. It will be wrap less Red Morrell wrap with Red Morrell Points into Ebony, nothing fancy but should play well.

I will interject here I know Mike maybe not a close friend but a friend and some years ago at a function I over heard a gentleman ask Bill Schick of all the cue makers here other than yourself who would you have build you a cue " Bills reply without a doubt Mike Bender" that is some high praise.

I don't think there is a BEST playing cue. I have owned many some a couple by same maker many individual and most played. I have owned 3 by Mike Bender and they all played similar and his workmanship is second to none, but others played as well.

For me a cue is a tool granted I like quality but change of income has affected what I can spend.
