Thanks. That's a pretty good achievement even for him to be able to crank it out like that in that situation.

    VERY IMPORTANT POLL-Everyone please vote.

I think you made a good point ... but, I think that all those examples lead with positive image first and then junkie as a play on them. Pool hall doesn't lead with a positive image and to end with junkie comes across imho as an additional negative, not as a playful twist. Even though "hustler"...

Loosey Goosey vs. Slow and Steady....

Very well said. You said here in a few paragraphs what it has taken some people a lifetime to figure out if ever at all. :)

    Back to Manila

Jay, best of luck in your endeavour with Jalo. Glad that Bunny is being amicable with your plan to better the family's life. Your stories of the Phillipines interest me to no end; I am tempted to possibly go one day soon. :p

Just had to share Sandcastle Billiards a family poolhall

What a nice experience all around. She even got her arm nicely balanced and a good stance. :)

What the heck, putting my stroke on Video

Props to you for posting your vid. Agreed with others on the stance. It's too upright and tough on your legs. Try the stance in the 2 avatars above my post where as already mentioned one would bend over more at the waist so that your eyes are closer to the cue ball. Just my humble opinion of course.

DCC Master of the Table Predictions

Not a washup! How does Efren do it ?! No one else his age is keeping up with his game in today's pool world ? Not Sigel, not Buddy Hall, not Parica. How much longer can Efren do it ? His lasik surgery gave his game new life! I'm definitely buying his last 2 9-ball matches! :p

    10ball ghost race to 17

Yeah, I mentioned "at least" a solid B player since I didn't know how you played on a 9-footer with tight pockets. 10-4 against the 9-ball ghost is good playing so it would seem that would get you into the 'A' range. I'll check out your other video. I really like going by Jude's rating system...

    10ball ghost race to 17

Thanks for posting. As I am sure everybody does, I am always trying to rate someone's game as I watch. It seems from the video that you are at least a solid B player with good potting ability and positioning skills. I guess it might be that the table is easy, but the positioning is a little...

    Question for Chris Bartram...

You're funny. You answer a shout-out question in this forum quicker than the pros do in their own sections. Good luck in the coming year

My Amazing Trip to Turning Stone (behind the scenes at a pro event)

Like others before me, i enjoyed this back-stage story. It's refreshing to put together faces with the stories; some I knew but hearing the good stuff about Rodney aside from his somewhat brash impression earlier in the days. Goes to show first impression is not always everything.

A question on pool etiquette !

Actually, I have seen where an opposing team would object when a pitcher celebrates too voiceriously any strikeout so I suppose it's all in degree and showmanship (i.e. showing up the other player). But if it was to end the game, I guess it would just be like a relief-gate bursting open. I...
