Quick question re distance from the cue ball at address

Hi all, i also think, that Neil just wrote it/said it as a general rule- and i m sure, everybody understands, that this is also very right- to show up with examples like Alex Pagulayan for example-- well- tough exmaple :) The point that ppl also try to copy other great pros- good point- and...

    How would you play this?

If the 5 has a path to the right upper corner- then "just" runout :-) But to play here a good and EASY safety would be my choice- to shoot the 5 ball towards the 8 ball- or even choosing to shoot the 5 ball between rail and the 8... .. super high percentage to leave a safety- and the cueball...

Low Deflection vs Standard Deflection Cues

A (well done) LD shaft shortens the learning curve at the beginning. (if it s a LD shaft with a repeatable result ) But anyhow-- there are also sensational good cuemakers who *know their job* and are also able to produce a shaft without any *typical ld things included) (hole, ferrule etc). --...

CTE Pro One makes no sense to me...

From all the posts that you wrote- i m a bit afraid now: you do not really want to say here now, that you don t know what backhand english is and how it s used?

    CTE plus other aiming system

Using now since months just cte/pro1 and 90/90. (but really don t play that much). If playing for example straight pool-- where i have to really plan the cueball s path for the impact in a rack or sth like that, i double check with *contact to contact* and *tangent-line*--- but somehow only to...

    Point of view-Real World

Well tony, i need someone who would help me to understand the question (where the hell is here a question? ....) but anyway- - it s very funny, how someone, who has no clue (ofc just my personal opinion! don t want to speak for others!) about pivot systems, is permanently bashing them. Seems...

    jumping up on critical shot...

good advice: but doesn t cover perhaps his problem :-) jumping up in stroke can have several reasons. stance, eye-patterns and more- or maybe mental problem also- what Fran has covered with her advice :-) lg from overseas,

    8 pack

Hi pool-lovers :) i don t play really anymore- but if, i have tons of fun by "working" just on cte/pro1 or 90/90. The last few sessions-not really that long- i just used these two systems. If you give it a time, it s really interesting (or amazing) how easy it is to pocket balls with the...

    8 pack

Yup, Ron s systems works very well. And Antony is right- 1 and 2 make a large amount of the shots on the table :-) It takes time to learn- you will get very soon high success rates- but you need to be VERY consistant with your pivot. Once you get it, it s great help. 90/90, 90 to center and...

what is a proper practice plan???

proper practice plan Hi bbb, as Neil or Mohrt pointed it out-- everyone should first work "stubborn" on strenghtening his fundamentals. And the the players i m talking about, who are playing on pro-level all still work on their fundamentals- and even try to get better in this important area...
