Sanding left a bunch of white sawdust embedded in cue. What do I do? What happened?

I presume ExpoxyPop means to shellac what is in the picture? Anyway, I can try a small area. I have gone beyond 220 grit and it is still there. I used 1000 grit today and it is very smooth but still a lot of white specks. I may continue with the sanding on a section and see what happens. I...

Sanding left a bunch of white sawdust embedded in cue. What do I do? What happened?

I sanded down a one-piece cue and it resulted in a bunch of white embedded in the cue. What can I do? What caused this? I figure its due to white sawdust and I need to sand it down. Comments? Yes, I am green and that is why I am posting here.

    Jacoby V5

Granted that deflection is over-rated but, still, why no mention of any testing Jacoby did for deflection? Given arguments on AZ on the role of flex in deflection, you'd think there would be discussion on whether the increased flex added to V5 was done to to reduce deflection. Its just a short...

Scott Gracio I want my cue or money back now.

Few cue builders have cue shafts as pretty as this. Cue shaft with points? What the devil?

Seeing the contact point on the object ball.

Even for Smorg representatives, Straightline's aiming method may have utility finding the aiming line when object ball is very close to cue ball: Find object-ball contact point and the midpoint between object and cue balls. Connect the two points --- that is the aiming line before the...

    💯Four one-piece cues about 100-years old — $200 shipped💯 NEW PRICE

If you want to go back in time, get Briggs sticks and Briggs chalk. Here's an eBay vendor selling 100+ year-old Briggs chalk (when Briggs was on Bolyston Street in Boston --- that would be, according to The Boston Directory, sometime between 1870 and 1888). The fellow's price is worse than...

Seeing the contact point on the object ball.

Cutshots' and Straightline’s methods to determine the aiming line differ in two ways. Straightline uses a step Cutshots doesn’t: Straightline uses the midpoint between object and cue balls while Cutshots does not. Likewise, Cutshots uses a step Straightline doesn’t: CueShot uses the concept...

Pro aiming: Eyeball object-ball path & then cue-ball path with eyes near pool-table height

Author Phil Capelle writes about Moritz's aiming method on pages 8 and 10 at https://www.azbilliards.com/buzz/ He is puzzled by Moritz's quirky pre-shot routine that takes up "cognitive resources" and, in an extreme version of what Cappelle refers to as The Walkover, criticizes Moritz for...

Predator sp2 and roadline series question

The different designs should have some effect. P3's design is expensive and complicated versus SP2's inexpensive and simple. P3 has a 30-piece butt of alternating maple and ash while SP2 is a four-piece maple butt. __
