MatchRoom's response to the WPA player sanctions:

MatchRoom's response to the WPA player sanctions:

I took it as her saying that non-MR events were "amateur" by the way they were run, the production value, brackets and live scoring, etc. Look at the final of the 2015 World 9 Ball compared to the 2022 World 9 Ball. By comparison, 2015 looks like an amateur event. It's all relative.

    Fedor Vs Tony 1 pkt

I'd say anyone that actually enjoys playing one pocket that's also ranked outside of the top 50 in 9ball can be called a one pocket specialist.

    Fedor Vs Tony 1 pkt

Classy Shane Or he's just downplaying to get a spot :)

    Fedor Vs Tony 1 pkt

I left #5 blank If you want to put Shane there I won't argue with you, but he's definitely not #1.

    Fedor Vs Tony 1 pkt

So top 5 for the money 1. Gorst 2. Filler 3. Alex 4. Dennis 5. ? I think 1/2 and 3/4 probably interchangeable on any given day. Really not sure who would be #5

I like whoever wins the Sky/Ko match. Although Fedor is a good pick.

FSR just hung this one up hill-hill But he said, "It's okay! I'm the hometown favorite so I get a mulligan."

Don't think I'll be watching this one unfortunately. That red carpet is a million times worse than a purple 5 ball.

    Congrats to Nick Schulman

Pool hobbyist/commentator just won his 4th bracelet at this year's WSOP. It was in 7-card stud, so smaller field and prize money, but still cool to see. https://www.pokernews.com/news/2023/06/nick-schulman-wins-event-9-seven-card-stud-fourth-bracelet-43705.htm Figured it was okay to post...

Shouldn't be hard to do a piece on Rob as he's been in the pool scene for years.

Well to be fair, regardless of the odds, Jack and Chris do have the exact same chance of winning.

What Do You Look For in a Pool Instructor

What would I look for in a pool instructor? 1. Someone that can correctly point out any flaws in my technique. 2. Someone with patience 3. Someone that can demonstrate what they are teaching me.
