People who use chalk holders...what do you do when

Chalk is essential to the sport. You cant avoid it. It’s not toxic. Comes in various colors. Its free unless you bring your own. It falls on the floor. You can possibly step on it. Its on the rails. Coins in your pocket probably transmit more germs than chalk. Ive never paid attention to the...

    Shaw's Aiming

Do you see what the best players are doing? They walk around the table to size up their shot. Its not all about just getting over the cue ball. If you ever played golf have you never lined up a putt from both the back of the ball and behind the hole. This is not a sport of “hurry up and shoot”...

It works. Unconventional but I’ve used it from time to time. Rodney was a character who told some...

Hard to Find the Center of the Cue Ball

I’ve often heard to forget center ball and use slight left or right of where you think center would be. Right now (approaching 80) I’m trying like the devil to stop missing so many shots that I took for granted years ago. I’d rather play than practice and that’s a big part of the problem.

Custom and High End Cues on the Decline?

Thank you. You’ve taken all the romance in paying someone the outrageous cost to replace a cue tip.

They play in conditions that require concentration. Hot and humid rooms. Lackluster tables. A kind list of elements that make playing in the States feel like they are dreaming.
