Cliff wins his spot in the IPT NA Open!

There are few occasions that I go to Cues2 and don't see him there. For a while I swore he must of been under House Arrest and put Cues2 as his place of residence. I like watching him play too. Watching him play 1pocket turned me on to it. And he always seems to manage to come back no matter...

    Best Accu-Stats ONE POCKET tape(s)???

I get to see Cliff Joyner everytime I go to Cues2. So I get to see him play all the time. I love watching the onepocket players. There is an elevated seating island so you can watch them from above. It's always interesting watching the stuff they'll do that you would never think of. I'll...

    Gold Crown IV custom improvements

That freaking rules!!! I like the book shelf feature. However I like the noisy rack holder. I'm so use to loosing I have become the Minnesota Fats of racking balls and putting up racks. I have a routine down for putting racks up I could do it blindfolded. It kind of drives me nuts when I go...

    Atlanta this week-end

Oh yeah. I believe Stevie Did qualify. Tuesday I saw Johnny Archer and Stevie Moore do an exhibition match. I didn't see the end result because I had to play for league.

    Atlanta this week-end

Many of the tables need to be worked on badly. I saw Stevie working on a couple of them. He did alright for his first time working on one. (Or he told me it was his first one). If I saw all of the tables being worked on then I'd ask if they plan on closing the place down or something. Which...

    trick shot video

A friend of mine has that exact table in his apartment. It makes the bar bet trick shot of putting to balls with one on the top at the end of the table and saying you'll hit that one first really easy. I got a picture of me playing on it with my Schon. He said he wanted a picture with a stick...

    Schon Identification?

Thanks Rivercity. I looked it up and it appears to be an STL6. Not sure if that is the best stick out there but I like it. I don't like it as much as my Meucci Original Sneaky Pete but that looks like it was beat with an Ugly Stick.

    Schon Identification?

I have trouble linking to Yahoo Photos sometimes. Those where suppose to be Images. But I'll give a direct link to the picture page instead. Hopefully this will work If that doesn't work click here. Then you should see the page that says "Billiards" on it If all else fails just put this in...

    Schon Identification?

I got this from our shop. I think it was there for a while. We were selling it for $750 or so. I can't really remember. But none of us knows what it is because none of our dealer cataloges have it in it. Here are some pictures... I was also told that on Schons the "Schon" on the Butt...

Snooker is hard enough without this ...

I worked on a Brusnwick Pinhurst today that was a 9' table that was a snooker. It even had the step cushions. But the pocket openings where huge.

Slate liner: MDF or poplar wood

MDF will hold staples better. But Poplor holds them great also. I prefer poplor because it will hold wedges better than MDF which tends to have a smooth shiny coating of sorts that allows wedges to slip easier.

    Cliff Joyner vs. Stevie Moore

I heard Josh Aries was the likely candidate for Stevie. Joyner however from what I heard was pure speculation. Keith something is a name that was brought up. Either way I hope they rematch and I'll try to catch that one for sure.

Good Staple Gun for Felting Table???

Duofast. No questions about that. By the way Mark what is with us Mark's in the pool table business. On top of that 2 Smith's. It must be our curse. On another note a friend's father who own's a Machine Shop. He has an Air Powered one. For pool table work it wouldn't be good but that...

Do you like the music in your pool room?

First off I doubt anyone could grasp or even come close to my variances in taste of music. I'm a musician who plays various instruments and has a great love for music. Even over pool. But... When I'm at a pool hall I want old Blues. Or Blues of any kind really. Newest being some Stevie Ray...

    Cliff Joyner vs. Stevie Moore

I wonder who was backing who? It sucked I missed it but after a pool table move job from hell I went home and went to bed.

8ft table instead of 9ft table, thoughts?

If you have to use a short stick then I'd go with an 8foot. You can shim the pockets to make it more challenging. But using short sticks and having to switch sticks really sucks. The majority of the tables I move are 8foots. And the majority of rooms are not even big enough for 8foots.

Would you be willing to wear your hair like this?

Good gosh. Pool must of been a rough sport back in those days. I'm 21 now but I know that if I can somehow manage to live longer I'm going to regret all those pictures I have had taken of me. Especially with the internet and all.

the measle ball sure is educational and other ramblings

I'm sure if you stuck a Measel ball in your opponent would be happy. I've always liked shooting with the ball. Some people hate it but oh well.

Pool tables made in China and sold in US

Is it an internet table? I've been seeing these on the road lately. Half the time the slate is busted or the table is so screwey for us to fix it they could of spent a few more and got one of ours. It's more than likely an imperial also. Those are the better of the "China" tables. Brunswick...
